In the printed part Spohr offers his new oratorio "The last judgement" WoO 61 for subscription. In the handwritten addendum he asks Simrock to support the endeavour and promote it by public announcements. Spohr wrote the same letter to Simrock's father Nikolaus in Bonn (NE 241, 18).
