Education

Beethoven's birthplace and the exhibitions can be explored on guided tours. Children are particularly welcome. We provide actions and special tours for children, families and pupils. Feel free to ask for help when you are planning a visit.

Guided tours

Admission includes a public regular guided tour free of charge. Individual visitors and groups may also choose from various paid guided tours. The tours take between 45 and 60 minutes (90 minutes for visually impaired visitors).

The group tours are available in German, English and French. Guided tours in Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese can also be arranged. Please contact the museum in advance. Large groups can be divided or can choose a 20 minute presentation and then explore the museum on their own.

On request, museum tours can include a concert or a lecture and can also take place outside of the regular opening hours.

Our Museum office is happy to help you plan your visit. Guided tours can also be booked using our Registration form. Groups wishing to visit the Beethoven-Haus on their own are asked to register in advance as well.
