Household items and relics

Numerous ordinary life items used by Beethoven were bought from his inheritance by friends and admirers. This way, furniture, hearing aids, art objects and ordinary items from the composer's everyday life have been preserved until today.

The most sought-after object was Beethoven's hair. Often, strands and curls were incorporated in jewellery and handed over from generation to generation.
