Nice to know

Ries and Wegeler are continuing their work on the Beethoven biography. Ries sends Wegeler more notes on Beethoven. He is grateful for the introduction Wegeler has written and answers his questions. Among other things he comments on a popular anecdote. (I have heard the anecdote on property and brain owners. As it is a rather harmless but rather suitable one when one is familiar with the persons involved, I do not see a reason not to joke about it. However, it took place after my absence.) Furthermore, Ries is asking for Wegeler's medical advice for some common acquaintances. (FG)
