Nice to know
Beethoven had friendly dealings with the employees at the music publishers S. A. Steiner, which can also be seen from the mainly joking tone of his letters. He asks Haslinger, an employee whom he always calls "Adjutant", to send him the receipts for two recorded deliveries, which he had had Steiner send for him. If the letters have not already been sent, he asks for them to be returned. In addition Beethoven asks for three packages of music to be sent to Prague (his own works which had been published by Steiner).
The package for Kanka has already been put together. The lawyer Reger is to receive the piano reductions of opp. 91 and 92 as well as opp. 94 and 98. A "Hr. v. Ploschek" (he actually means Karl Gloschek) is to receive the scores of opp. 91, 92, 96, 97 as well as the Lieder opp. 94 and 98.
