Zusammenfassung
Beethoven sends on a "letter from Prague" to Treitschke (no longer surviving), probably an order for a copy of the score of Fidelio (op. 72). Treitschke and Beethoven had invited numerous theatres in German-speaking countries to subscribe. A copy was sent to Prague at the beginning of September.
In addition Beethoven asks Treitschke to enquire on his behalf whether he might be able to hire the university hall for two or three academies (this was not possible; the academies were held in the large Redoutensaal). Beethoven ends the letter with "dear brother poet, dear brother in Apollo, be blessed".
