Zusammenfassung
In summer 1822 Beethoven negotiated with the music publisher Peters in Leipzig, on the latter's initiative, concerning publication of several of his works. Beethoven had finished, half-finished or had planned several compositions, which he wanted to sell to Peters, including Lieder, bagatelles for piano and marches. He also negotiated with Peters concerning the sale of the Missa solemnis. However, in the end they did not do business together.
