Zusammenfassung
Beethoven sends his Bonn publisher confirmation that he has received payment (for op. 107) from Brentano and explains the complicated exchange rates for common currencies (apparently to show what his prices are like). He once again asks for the money for the Mass (op. 123) to be paid and promises to deliver it in the summer.
Beethoven also says that he will send a confirmation of ownership for the variations (op. 107) and their opus number (he had obviously not sent the opus number for the work, as it was not included in the original edition). Finally he talks about the plans for a complete edition of his works. He will soon send more details because "the subject demands careful consideration".
