Zusammenfassung
Beethoven writes to Ries in Bonn, telling him that a copy of the Symphony op. 125 (to be performed at the Lower Rhine Music Festival in Aachen) is already on its way to him. However, there are only orchestral parts for the finale - a score of it is to follow in the next post. Furthermore Beethoven announces that an overture (op. 124) as well as the Opferlied (op. 121b) are on their way, although he is afraid that there are mistakes in the copy of the latter. He promises him a list of mistakes so that he can check this. He also wants to send a counter bassoon part for the finale of op. 125.
