Zusammenfassung
Beethoven sends two copies of op. 98 to Karl Peters with an accompanying letter to be passed on to the heirs of Beethoven's patron and the person to whom it is dedicated, Prince Franz Joseph Maximilian Lobkowitz, who has just died.
Beethoven includes a third copy for Karl Peter's wife.
Peters was Counsellor to Prince Lobkowitz and tutor to the Prince's two children.
