Zusammenfassung
Beethoven writes to Sonnleithner, a member of the board of directors for the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde, telling him that he will gladly send the score of op. 121b. Unfortunately he cannot send him any other larger works (probably opp. 123 and 125) until they have been performed somewhere else (Sonnleithner had negotiated to have a performance of the two works in the music society). Beethoven promises him that he will gladly help him should a similar situation arise.
Beethoven asks for the enclosed letter to be passed on to the Vice President of the Society, Raphael Georg Kiesewetter.
