Zusammenfassung
Beethoven apologizes to his friend Stephan von Breuning that he has not yet invited him over. His bad health and other duties have meant that this has not been possible up to now.
Breuning had asked Beethoven about the latest piano school by Joseph Czerny. However Beethoven recommends him not to take this and promises to look around for a better one (three-quarters of a year later he sends him Clementi's piano school, see HCB Br 109). In addition he encloses a fashion magazine for his wife and small presents for the children.
