Zusammenfassung
Beethoven is desperately waiting for an answer to his two letters of 21 August from his publisher (HCB Br 87 and 88, BGA 464 and 465). He once again says that he has held on to the Lieder (op. 83) (he no longer knew which Lieder he had sent and was waiting for Härtel to send a list with their titles to compare with the works.) The Sonata op. 81a and the Songs op. 82 were also on ice, ready to be sent at any time, should the publisher be interested in them. Härtel should have received all of the other agreed works.
Beethoven asks for post to be sent to him via his friend Franz Oliva, as he will spend most of the summer outside of Vienna. He hopes to hear from him soon.
