Zusammenfassung
Beethoven writes briefly to his publisher in Leipzig about the imminent occupation of Vienna by the French troops. He also gives last instructions concerning his Piano Trios op. 70. If possible (that is if the title page has not already been engraved) he would like to change the dedication. The trios are not to be dedicated to the Countess Erdödy as originally planned, but rather to Archduke Rudolph (this wish could no longer be fulfilled). He adds corrections and fingerings in a few places.
