Zusammenfassung

Beethoven asks Paul Bigot, the husband of the pianist Marie Bigot, to send back the piano part of the Triple Concerto op. 56 because the publisher needs it as the engraver's model. He promises to send the part back soon. Beethoven apologizes for not having visited the Bigots on account of an important meeting with Prince Lichnowsky. He also enquires at what time "S. and K." (probably Schuppanzigh and Kraft) will be coming the next day. He sends greetings to Bigot's wife and her sister. The suggestiveness of his greeting to Marie Bigot ("kiss your wife a great deal - I cannot fault you if you do this") might have contributed to the tension between Paul Bigot and Beethoven in March 1807.
