Zusammenfassung
Beethoven asks his friend Gleichenstein to pass something else on concerning the Symphony op. 60 to the copyist. In addition he says that the Quartet op. 59 should definitely be brought to the publisher, the Industrie-Comptoir, even if the copyist has not yet finished.
Beethoven tells him about his conflict with his brother on account of a loan and asks Gleichenstein to pass something on to him, as he "will certainly not write to him anymore" himself. He is also not on good terms with his other brother, "Heaven keep me from having to accept charity from my brother".
In a postscript Beethoven adds that the Industrie-Comptoir has probably already received the symphony.
