Zusammenfassung
Beethoven complains to the singer Christine Gerhardi, whose married name was Frank, about the text of an advertisement for a concert in the newspaper. In the announcement for a benefit concert only "the famous amateur singer, Frau v. Frank, née Gerhardi" was mentioned by name, but not Beethoven himself nor the colleagues Punto (J. W. Stich), Simoni, Galvani nor her husband. She was not the only one making music for this charitable purpose - all of the participating artists were doing so.
Apart from those mentioned by Beethoven, Haydn, Paër and Conti also took part in the academy.
