Zusammenfassung
Josephine's words are full of pain and despair. She is apparently afraid of losing Fritz, her son from her first marriage, because she accuses the addressee amongst other things that Fritz has become his pupil, "the split has happened". Alongside her despair there is, however, also trust in the "almighty hand of the creator" - "do not despair I have the courage to bear everything".
