Beethoven apparently says a corrected copy of the Mass op. 86 is on its way and urges to be allowed to make corrections before it is finally printed. He also changes the dedication (op. 86 was first of all to be dedicated to Nikolaus Zmeskall, then to an unnamed lady, and finally to Prince Ferdinand Kinsky).
He puts off his planned journey to northern Germany and Leipzig indefinitely, because of chaotic conditions. Beethoven mentions that he is working on three new symphonies at the moment (op. 92, which is already finished, op. 93 and another one, for which single sketches remain, but which Beethoven did not seem to be working on too seriously).
He also writes of op. 113 and op. 117, which he has written for the Hungarian theatre.
