Zusammenfassung
Stephan von Breuning tells of his stay in Mergentheim and of his Viennese acquaintances, including Beethoven and the Romberg cousins.
Bernhard Romberg had not been able to play a work by Beethoven and had cursed this, which had in turn greatly disgusted Prince Lichnowsky. The Rombergs' situation in Vienna is not very good. Breuning finally talks about "one of the best evenings in Vienna", to which the Hunczovsky family had been invited at Lorenz von Breuning's house. Böcking, Beethoven and the Rombergs had played music there.
