Zusammenfassung
Beethoven assures his publisher Hoffmeister that the Septet op. 20 he has sold to him will not be published anywhere else. He had merely sent a copy of the score to Johann Peter Salomon in London, giving him performance rights but not publication rights. Beethoven guarantees Hoffmeister and Kühnel the sole publishing rights for this work.
In addition Beethoven sends the title and dedications for the Piano Concerto op. 19, the Septet op. 20, the Symphony op. 21 and the Sonata op. 22.
