Nice to know
Beethoven encloses a short personal letter to his publisher in Leipzig with his brother's business letter. In the former he promises that he will soon write to him again personally. At the moment too many other jobs and "irritations" are preventing him from doing so. He refers him to his brother Kaspar Karl, whom he trusts and who carries out his business negotiations.
