In a short note Beethoven requests author's copies of his sonata op. 106 as well as the Variations op. 105. He tells the publisher to send the copies to Steiner's company (at the time Beethoven was in the country and Steiner was putting together a package of music for him anyway.)
The form of address "Very Best Virtuosi senza cujoni [without testicles]" was certainly meant in jest and its crudeness reflects Beethoven's rustic sense of humour.
