Nice to know

Beethoven sends Rupprecht the money for Aloys Weißenbach, author of the text for the Cantata "Der Glorreiche Augenblick" ("The Glorious Moment") op. 136. Beethoven asks for a receipt for this sum and apologizes for not being able to pay more as his overheads are very high (according to the BGA he is probably referring to the academies of November/December 1814 in which op. 136 was performed).

In a postscript he adds that Rupprecht will soon receive the Lied (according to the BGA probably WoO 100).
