Ludwig van Beethoven, Billet an Franz Oliva, Wien, Ende September 1820, Autograph

Beethoven asks Franz Oliva for the book with the Scottish Songs so that he can send it to the publisher together with the engraver's model. Oliva was setting the English text underneath the music. He only worked slowly, so there was a delay in sending the engraver's model.
