Karl van Beethoven, who dealt with his brother's business matters at this time, writes a receipt for Artaria for 90 florins "for two arranged pieces". It is not quite clear which pieces are meant. The next editions Artaria published after this receipt in spring 1806 were: op. 87 (including arrangements for string trio) and op. 63, which has up to now been thought to be an arrangement without Beethoven's involvement.
