Nice to know
Beethoven asks Josephine Deym, to send him her copies of the Andante (probably WoO 57) as soon as possible as well as those of two Lieder (probably op. 32 and WoO 136), as he urgently needs a copy for the Russian Empress (shortly before Haydn had received a gold ring from the Empress for his multipart songs, and this had been discussed at great length in the Viennese musical scene and admired). He would also be grateful if she were to send him the score of Mozart's "Idomeneo" for a few days.
