Nice to know
Klinger writes from Paris, where the chair for his statue of Beethoven is being cast. The memorial was shown at the 14th exhibition of the Viennese Secession in the same year.
He writes to the unknown professor that he has already sent him a sketch of the clothed body for the Beethoven statue (see NE 74 from 6 May 1900, in which he says the sketch will be sent the coming week). However, at the time the receiver had been away, which is why the leaf could not be handed over. As soon as he is back in Leipzig in the coming month he will see to it that the sketch of the clothed body is sent once again.
