Nice to know
Franz Brentano who lived in Frankfurt helped Beethoven several times, acting as an intermediary between the composer and publishers (mainly Simrock in Bonn). Beethoven now asks for help delivering a larger package of music (probably a copy of the Missa solemnis) to London. One of Brentano's sons lived in London and Beethoven therefore hoped that Brentano would have the means and knowledge of how to send the music from Frankfurt as quickly as possible.
As in almost all his letters to Antonie or Franz Brentano Beethoven does not forget to ask after the family's well-being. He is particularly concerned about the mentally-disabled youngest child.
