Naoum Aronson writes to a friend. He praises a certain Gerta, of whom the addressee has apparently sent him a photo, possibly the daughter of a friend.
The postscript allows us to suppose that the friend has some closer connection with the Beethoven-Haus. Instead of sending the three plaster of Paris busts of Beethoven via Dr. Levin which the Beethoven-Haus has ordered, Aronson sends twelve. He stresses, however, that no strings are attached. Furthermore he asks for all financial transactions to be concluded with Dr. Levin.
