Josef Teltscher returned to the Schwarzspanierhaus to produce his last sketch of Beethoven's apartment following the composer's death and burial. This can be inferred from the fourteen pages with different sketches that separate the first sketches from the last one in the sketchbook, as well as the content of the drawing itself. Beethoven's bed is shown empty and the Broadwood grand piano is cut off, as it was possibly moved from its original place in the middle of the room for the autopsy.(S.B.)
