Anselm Hüttenbrenner, Brief an Anton Schindler in Pest, Grätz, 25. Januar 1828, Autograph

Beethoven-Haus Bonn, BH 213, 119

Hüttenbrenner complains about the poor condition of the Grätz Opera and describes the terms for the performance Schindler intends to give there. Next, he reports having received a print of Beethoven's study room and a lithography from Danhauser with the "image of the deceased". He promises to show Schindler all nearby places where the great composer is remembered and honoured.
