Nice to know

Beethoven says he is prepared to vouch for Joseph Ludwig Stoll, who has to take out a loan from the firm Offenheimer. However, he asks that secrecy is maintained on this matter particularly towards Franz Oliva. In September of the same year, Beethoven had fallen out with Oliva in Teplitz, although they were reconciled in the course of the first half of 1812. Oliva was an Offenheimer employee.
