Beethoven announces he has sent a package with the music he has offered (the Symphony op. 55 and the Piano Sonatas opp. 53 and 54). The other works he has offered them will be delivered at a later date as Beethoven does not have enough good copyists to hand.
Beethoven mentions that Prince Lichnowsky will approach the publishers regarding the oratorio. He expressly praises Lichnowsky, saying that he is one of his truest friends and patrons of his art.
