Nice to know

Lorenz von Breuning tells his sister Eleonore about his stay in Vienna, about acquaintances and his activities.

He writes that Beethoven has settled down well in Vienna. He is composing well, is very respected and is being supported by Prince Lichnowsky. He is living at the latter's palace and is being "treated quite as a friend". Beethoven is also eating there, and has been given servants and a horse. Von Breuning and Beethoven often meet in company at the house of von Breuning's cousin and at Hunczovsky's house.
