Nice to know
Beethoven refers to a letter which he has sent to his brother Johann via Steiner. His doctor is urging him to take the waters in Baden. So he is planning to leave the following day, the day after that at the latest. Beethoven is disappointed not to have had any further opportunity to discuss business matters with his brother, for example the publication of op. 113 by Steiner for the opening of the Josephstadt Theatre. He suggests that Johann might visit him in Baden.
