Beethoven sends Häring confirmation of ownership (for the piano reductions of opp. 91 and 92, as well as opp. 96 and 97) for the publisher Birchall. Beethoven indicates that he is reserved because he has had bad experiences with Englishmen twice before. He says that he will write to Birchall himself because of different titles and sends him greetings.
