Zincography

Often wrongly used as a term for all printing techniques that employ zinc plates. However, zincography only refers to a planography method similar to lithography where a granulated zinc plate is used as the printing plate. Due to the granulated surface, the zinc is suitable for printing. Just as in lithography, the image is transferred directly on the printing plate and can feature finest nuances.
