Maria Baptist - The Solo Works

The pianist and composer Maria Baptist is a crossover artist between musical worlds. Her music fuses jazz and classical music to create a new sound experience. She has presented her award-winning works on the world's major stages - from the Berlin Philharmonie to the Elbphilharmonie, from New York to Hong Kong - and documented them on 17 albums. Acclaimed by the press as ‘masterful’ and 'virtuoso' for her solo piano recitals, Maria Baptist designs her concerts as a flowing, dramaturgically thought-out process in which composition and improvisation seamlessly intertwine. Each concert thus becomes a unique, constantly changing sound space.
