CD Release Tour "Origin"

Michiaki Ueno, winner of first prize at the 2021 Geneva International Music Competition and recipient of the Beethoven Ring 2024, performs worldwide at renowned festivals and with famous orchestras such as the Warsaw Philharmonic, Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and the NHK Symphony Orchestra under conductors such as Charles Dutoit, Jonathan Nott, Tugan Sokhiev and Sebastian Weigle. In 2024 and 2025, he performed with Martha Argerich and Mischa Maisky in Tokyo and was Artist in Residence at the Argerich Festival.

Following the release of J.S. Bach's 6 Solo Suites in 2022, the CD ‘Origin’ with emotionally impressive Japanese works is now being released on the LaDolceVolta label.

The concert will feature exciting Japanese pieces as well as Bach's Cello Suites No. 1 and No. 3.
