Open event for everyone to join in to mark World Day for Cultural Diversity

We’re taking part in the 'Solidarity in Diversity' Day of Action! Around 21 May 2026 – World Day for Cultural Diversity – events will be held across Germany for the first time to highlight diversity and demonstrate society's commitment to solidarity. Under the motto 'Music unites' we invite all museum visitors to make music in our beautiful courtyard: Beethoven's Ode to Joy will be performed using boomwhackers. As a symbol of respect, democracy and cohesion, everyone can also design a small plaque bearing the words 'Dignity is inviolable' – to take away and share, very much in the spirit of Beethoven.
