Screen Concerts
Great cinema for eyes and ears
In collaboration with the Förderverein Filmkultur Bonn e.V., our series of screen concerts presents music that bridges the gap between the visual arts and film.
- Mykyta Sierov, oboe
- Richard Siedhoff, piano
Through a masterfully balanced interplay of comedy, romantic landscape and subtle social satire, the film stands as a milestone in film history. The spectacular outdoor scenes, such as the ludicrous train journey through the wilderness, are still regarded today as an outstanding example of cinematic engineering. With his trademark moments of surprise and subtle slapstick humour, Buster Keaton has the audience laughing and marvelling!
