Hello Ludwig!
Children Explored the Beethoven-Haus
13.03.2005 to 08.05.2005
Children are particularly welcome at the Beethoven-Haus! They show that a museum can also be a cheerful and lively place - and we show them that behind the many "lifeless" exhibits there are stories from a bygone era that you can immerse yourself in, for example by "colouring in" such stories or by making things from that era yourself and thus breathing life into the exhibits.
Over the last few years, hundreds of children have been able to immerse themselves in Beethoven's life and his music. They have become better acquainted with some of his works, learnt about his childhood and his childhood friends in Bonn, immersed themselves in life at court, tried out various techniques of the time, been artistically creative themselves and much more.
Some of the results of the experiences and activities in the museum are shown in the "Hello Ludwig!" exhibition. It is therefore a special exhibition, as it was actually prepared by children - but not just for children, but for everyone who wants to see Beethoven and his time from an exploratory, imaginative and colourful perspective.
