New Acquisitions and Donations of the Last Ten Years

On the day that marks the 122nd anniversary of the founding of the Beethoven-Haus Association, a special exhibition will be opened in which selected new acquisitions and donations from the past decade will be presented. Why did the founding fathers start collecting and what criteria are used for collecting today? The exhibition shows valuable and exciting objects from all areas: music manuscripts, copies, letters, music prints, pictures, sculptures, memorabilia, etc.
The exhibition is also a welcome opportunity to thank all those who support the collecting activities of the Beethoven-Haus: Previous owners who offer us objects exclusively, as well as the public sector, private foundations and patrons who support us financially or enrich the collection through donations or permanent loans.
