'Beethoven by Warhol' – One icon replaces another.
Instead of the famous Beethoven portrait by Joseph Karl Stieler, a work from Andy Warhol’s BEETHOVEN portfolio is on display at the Beethoven-Haus during the “Beethoven by Warhol” exhibition. Michael Kranz, Chairman of the Board, and Malte Boecker, Director of the Beethoven-Haus, introduce Culture Minister of State Wolfram Weimer (2nd from left) and Mayor Guido Déus (right) to the exhibition.
