Beethoven and Kant: Genius - Republic - Freedom
9 September 2024 until 6 January 2025
This year not only marks the anniversary of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, but also the 300th birthday of one of the most important thinkers in the history of philosophy: Immanuel Kant. To mark the occasion, the Beethoven-Haus will be showing a special exhibition from 9 September as part of the 14th International Kant Congress, which is taking place in Bonn this year, which looks at parallels in the thinking and work of Beethoven and Kant. The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with the Institute of Philosophy at the University of Bonn.
We would like to introduce you to the new special exhibition and cordially invite you to a
