Urgent renovation work in the Beethoven-Haus Bonn

Extensive renovation work is now due to be carried out following major water damage to the chamber music hall of the Beethoven-Haus at the turn of the year. The work will be carried out from 31 March to 28 May 2025 in order to ensure safety on the ground floor and prevent further damage to the building fabric. All concerts originally scheduled in the Chamber Music Hall during this period will either be cancelled, postponed or performed in alternative venues. ‘We regret the inconvenience caused to organisers and our audiences by the necessary renovation work, but this is essential for the future operation of the Chamber Music Hall,’ explains Malte Boecker, Director of the Beethoven-Haus Bonn.

The reopening of the chamber music hall is to take place with the chamber music festival 'BTHVN WOCHE', artistically designed by Daniel Hope, President of the Beethoven-Haus, which is planned from 29 to 31 May under the theme ‘Origin’.
