Beethoven's Tenth 2014

The focus of the orchestra workshop for young instrumentalists aged 9 and over in the second week of the autumn holidays in 2014 was Beethoven's 10th Symphony - or what Beethoven wrote down for this planned work.  

The 7th grade of a music high school goes on a trip to the Beethoven House and takes home a color copy of a sheet of music as a souvenir. The class representative Jan really wants to know what is written on the sheet, takes up the trail and discovers the secret of Beethoven's tenth step by step.  

In addition to music for the planned 10th symphony, other Beethoven works are also woven into the frame story (by Martella Gutiérrez-Denhoff), which the holiday orchestra rehearsed over five mornings under the direction of their conductor Michael Denhoff.
