Offers for kindergartens and schools
Concerts:
Several concerts for primary school classes take place in the chamber music hall of the Beethoven-Haus each season.
Guided tours:
We offer age-appropriate guided tours for kindergartens and school classes. The tours convey key aspects of Beethoven's biography. Beethoven's original instruments, the composer's ear trumpets and Beethoven representations are always on the programme. Depending on the respective year group, aspects of the city's history are addressed as well as the contemporary historical context and the music-historical framework.
We are happy to cater for the special needs of special school classes!

In Beethoven's footsteps in Bonn
Pupils explore Beethoven's Bonn on a historical map of the city. Buildings tell of his childhood and youth. Much of what Beethoven saw every day is still there today. We provide information and materials for a subsequent self-guided tour of the city.
From primary school age
Masks, silhouettes and co.
Plaster mask: The living and death masks of Beethoven in the museum are very impressive. But removing a plaster mask from your own face isn't bad either...
From class 5
Silhouette: The artistic creation of silhouettes was very fashionable in Beethoven's time. Equipped with scissors and silhouette paper, the pupils put their dexterity to the test.
From class 5
Eye mask (larva): Each child makes their own eye mask to match the painting of a fantastic masked ball in Bonn Castle.
Kindergarten to grade 3
Beethoven's workshop - from the sketch to the autograph
Reproductions of selected excerpts from Beethoven's manuscripts make Beethoven's working methods recognisable and comprehensible.
From grade 9
