Master Class for Chamber Music 2017
The programme of the eighth chamber music master class of the Beethoven-Haus this time included various chamber music works by Ludwig van Beethoven. Lecturers were the members of the Gewandhaus Quartet Leipzig, which is one of the honorary members of the Beethoven-Haus Association. The internationally renowned and very traditional Gewandhaus Quartet has made a name for itself in particular with its Beethoven interpretations. Three promising young chamber music ensembles have been selected as participants in the master class and are looking forward to working with the experienced musicians: the Italian string trio Quodlibet, the Heine Piano Trio and the Rhenish String Quartet, both from Germany.
The course was again sponsored by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.
